Finding it challenging to engage with the young people in your house now that you’re living with them near 24/7? Finding the walls close in sometimes and your house is no longer big enough?

Our friend Dr Steve Argue from the Fuller Youth Institute has written this great piece on some of the strategies parents can use to engage their high schoolers and young adults during self-imposed lockdown.

He encourages cultivating new relationships with those you know the best, and committing to a new language where patience beats power and empathy overcomes anger (which may mean apologising more!).

What are you hints and tips for surviving the COVID-19 pandemic ensuring great relationships with your young people?
