“Birdie felt sad and lonely because her friends couldn’t play games with her. She also felt worried. What is Mr Frog didn’t get better? What if everyone stayed sick forever?”

Birdie and the Virus has been specifically designed to support the mental health and emotional well being of babies and young children, their parents and families, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This Awesome Resource ‘Birdie and the Virus’ is part of the Birdie’s Tree storybook series developed by Children’s Health Queensland through the Queensland Centre for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health.

Children will love this as its simple to read, explains Virus’ and families can relate as Birdie and Mr. Frog stay apart but find ways to stay connected. Many may be facing a hard time descibing to children whats going on, in this ‘new normal’ and this resource, explains it so well! The book is translated into several languages for everyone to enjoy!
